Only Fools And Horses To Get Prequel? TV Series - Monday April 6, 2009Del Boy's dad may get his own TV show...Source: The Mail On SundayLuvly Jubbly!
Original Only Fools and Horses scribe, John Sullivan, has told The Mail On Sunday that he's penning a prequel to the hit comedy. The new series would centre on Del Boy's dodgy dad, Fred "The Frog" Robdal. And guess what? Rodders himself, Nicholas Lyndhurst, is reportedly on board to play the Peckham gangster!
The BBC is yet to green light the project (what are you waiting for Auntie?), but Sullivan told the paper: "Nick and I are both on board the train, if you like, waiting to arrive at the station."
What do you think of the idea - quids in, or as wobbly as one of Del Boy's hare-brained schemes? And what should the prequel be called - Only Fools and Foals?
