Disney Channel reels in 'Fish Hooks' TV Series - Friday October 30, 2009Disney Channel orders under water animated series Source: THR.comDisney goes back under the sea with a new high school animated series aptly named Fish Hooks. In the 21 episodes ordered by the cable channel, within a fish tank in a pet shop we see "party guy" Milo, his brother Oscar and a diva goldfish named Bea attend Freshwater High and go through the trials and tribulations of being a teen fish.
The series is set to air in autumn of next year, created by Noah Z. Jones, it will be directed by Bill Reiss of Chowder and Carl Greenblatt. Expectations are high since Gary Marsh, president entertainment at Disney Channels Worldwide has promised "one of the most original, inventive animated series on television".
So, high school drama, under water antics and and a long awaited disney animation, hope it all goes swimmingly.
