Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Trailer Goes Live As Seen on the Web - Tuesday November 3, 2009See Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton get sand in their shoes with Jerry Bruckheimer's latest blockbuster...Source: MySpaceOur first reaction on seeing the first trailer for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time was, well, a bit meh! But then we remembered that's exactly what we thought about the original promo for Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl, and we all know how well that turned out!
So, for now, we're gonna overlook some of the dodgier aspects of this first look at director Mike Newell's big-budget adaptation of the beloved computer game series and focus instead on what is sure to be a rollicking good adventure.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as the roguish Dastan, a former street urchin who inadvertantly gets hold of a magical dagger, hooks up with a lovely princess (Gemma Arterton) and falls foul of an evil wizard (Ben Kingsley).
