Taylor Lautner To Play Stretch Armstrong In 3D Now Filming - Monday February 8, 2010Team Jacob members will have to become Team Armstrong...Source: The Hollywood ReporterUniversal has cast Taylor Lautner of Twilight fame as the titular role in Stretch Armstrong, which is the latest animation to be brought out in 3D.
Lautner, who also starred in The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl 3D, will play Armstong, "an uptight spy who stumbles across a stretching formula, which he takes and must now adjust to in everyday life and when fighting crime."
Brian Grazer is producing the film, which is working from a screenplay written by Steve Oedekerk. No director has yet been confirmed, although there are rumours that Ron Howard might be sitting in the chair.
