The Book Of Genesis Heads To The Big Screen - In 3D Now Filming - Tuesday March 9, 2010Casting now: God, Adam, Eve and SnakeIt's one of the greatest story's ever told and now, the beginnings of the world as told in the Book of Genesis from - you know, the bible - is heading to the big-screen in glorious, money-spinning 3D.
After the success of Avatar and a monumental opening weekend take for the otherwise poorly received Alice in Wonderland expect this to be just the first of many announcements of epic tales heading in 3D to the big-screen, and to be honest, in taking on the story of how God made the world we can't fault writer John Fusco and director David Cunningham's ambition.
According to Deadline Hollywood, the $30m spectacle will hope to attract family and faith based audiences as well as your more common or garden big-screen thrill seekers.
We're expecting low-key casting, but for the role of God, surely the film-maker's have gotta go big... any thoughts?
