The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Music (1h 40min)   Release date : 29/09/1975

Dir. Jim Sharman
starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon

A loving couple, a few lost monsters and a sweet transvestite from the planet of Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania sing and dance through an entertaining, outrageous salute to horror movies and sexual liberation. Though the film is an adaptation from the musical on stage extravaganza, where audience participation is as much a part of the action as the show itself, all that's needed here is a sense of humour. And some toast.

Flame

Music (1h 30min)

Dir. Richard Loncraine
starring Noddy Holder, Jim Lea

In the middle of the 1970's, Slade were possibly the biggest rock band in Britain and so it was no surprise that they looked to branch out and make a feature film. What was a surprise was that they chose to make a bleak, unglamorous look at the life of a fictional working band at the prey of an unscrupulous industry. Despite the film's undoubted quality it was poorly received by their confused fanbase and marked the beginning of their commercial decline.
