Plot Synopsis

After defeating the Order of Shadows and thwarting the mob boss, Carmine Falcone, in 'Batman Begins', Bruce Wayne continues to fight crime in Gotham City. With Falcone gone, a new mafioso, Salvatore Maroni, has taken over the organised crime syndicates and it seems Batman's quest to wrestle Gotham free from the criminals will be never-ending. Luckily, the city's new District Attorney Harvey Dent's strong-arm stance against crime gives Wayne hope. Maybe his new ally will take over his battles, allowing him to settle down with the love of his life Rachel Dawes - the only person who knows his true identity.
The arrival of a new criminal destroys Batman's plans of a quiet life. A twisted, sadistic sociopath, with a morbid fascination for the caped crusader, known only as the Joker, descends upon the city. With no conscience or pain threshold, this nightmarish nemesis wreaks havoc upon Gotham, while Dent, (the White Knight to Batman's Dark Knight) undergoes a horrific transformation into the schizophrenic Two Face.

i saw this film at the cinema, and i thought it was amazing! it was much better than batman begins, and there was never a boring moment. the music was really good, so were the amazing stunts. i thought heath ledger did a fantastic job as the joker, and he definately deserved an oscar. it is the best film i have seen in ages, and my ffavorite film at the moment.

First of all, Dark Knight was gigantic step up from Batman Begins. It was excellently well directed, produced, screenplay by Christopher Nolan and not only that, he was the movie soundtrack's executive producer, which showed how well he was organised. The director showed the rest of the hollywood directors how to shoot their film, he shot it in Imax projec [...]
