In this retelling of Superman's origins, a young boy discovers he has extraordinary powers and thatr he's not from Earth, but was transported to our planet from his native Krypton, in order to escape its destruction. After being raised by his adoptive Earth parents with traditional small town America values, he journeys to discover where he came from and what's his purpose in life, battling agianst his feelings of alienation to become the hero we know as Superman.
