    An orphan on the streets is shown mercy by the king and taken into his family, growing up to be a prince in the ancient land of Persia. When he is falsely accused of murder, the young prince unwittingly teams up with a rival princess and flees, but finds in his possession an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time - a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world - putting him in even graver danger.
