Cannes Film Festival prize-winning director Nuri Bilge Ceylan tells the interspersing stories of four characters - a couple and their son plus the husband's boss - who survive the travails of modern life by apeing the maxim of the three titular simians... "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". By opting to ignore what is going on around them, they find themselves spiritually separated from their loved ones. Is it too late to watch, listen and talk about the important things in life?
