A spin-off of the film Knocked Up, This is 40 takes us inside the world of Pete and Debbie to reveal the ups and downs of married life in our modern era. With two maturing daughters (eight-year-old Charlotte and 13-year-old Sadie), two businesses to take care of (Pete owns a record label and Debbie owns a boutique), in addition to demanding parents, the couple is struggling to keep their finances in order and their romantic life afloat. To top it all off, the two are about to hit the dreaded 40-year-old mark, which is ushers a big blow to Debbie’s moral.
