Slave Django is freed from a chain-gang by German dentist/bounty hunter, Dr. King Schultz. He needs Django's help to track down the Brittle brothers. In return they will rescue his wife Broomhilda, who is being abused and exploited at Candyland, a Mississippi plantation owned by the villainous francophile Calvin Candie, where woman are treated as sex objects and men are disposed in bare knuckle fights.
