An unorthodox, animated biography of Graham Chapman portrayed through a very funny series of sketches that are executed in 17 different animation styles. The source for this film was Chapman’s 1980 fictionalized memoir, A Liar’s Autobiography (Volume VI). Having made a recording of the book before he died, Chapman’s real voice narrates the film, which assembled a scrambled chronology of his life. It covers his childhood during WWII, family high and low points, professional triumphs and a mixture of epiphanies (including sex with women followed by sex with men).
