Synopsis & Details

Hushpuppy lives with her father Wink in “the Bathtub,” a southern Delta community at the edge of the world. Wink prepares her daughter for the unraveling of the universe and for the time when he’s no longer around with tough-love. Wink contracts a mysterious illness and nature flies out of wack which calls upon unsettling prehistoric creatures. Hushpuppy in need of help goes in search of her lost mother.
