Trailer For Pusher Remake Online

With director Luis Prieto's Pusher remake on its way for quite some time – the cast was announced last May – we’re happy to discover a trailer for the upcoming feature over at Yahoo. The story is pretty much identical to Nicolas Winding Refn's 1996 debut thriller but is relocated to London. Richard Coyle will be playing the opportunistic Frank who thinks he’s got the score of his life but is then forced to leave behind his haul when the police shows up. This leaves him in the mercy of a ravage drug lord played by Zlatko Buric, who played the same role in Refn’s original and Danish version. Agyness Deyn is also in the film alongside Bronson Webb and Paul Kaye. Refn has helped Prieto steer the project as a producer – his presence is felt in the trailer, which actually has us wanting more, so here’s to hoping that it won’t be just another “remake”. The film is set to premiere sometime in May. Take a look at the trailer below!
