Watch The Campaign Trailer [VIDEO]

Comedy legends Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis will be starring together for the first time as rival candidates in The Campaign. Check out the new trailer over on Apple. Ferrell plays the long-incumbent but unopposed North Carolina congressman Cam Brady whose career is suddenly put in jeopardy after a embarrassing mistake at a political event. With the powers that be seeing an opening, outsider and goofball Marty Huggins (Galifianakis) is brought in to run against him. And while Brady is confident that he'll win regardless, Huggins represents an electorate that's tired of their current congressman's poor leadership. Having watched the trailer, The Campaign doesn't feel as fresh as we would hope (the two are perhaps rehashing previous characters somewhat: Ferrell with Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights, Galifianakis with his "twin brother" Seth), but seeing the two comedians working together in lead roles is an exciting prospect, and hopefully a very funny one too. The Campaign is directed by Jay Roach (Meet the Parents) and also stars Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Brian Cox, Dan Aykroyd and John Lithgow.
