Which ones will make the cut?
This weekend, NBC released a whole host of new trailers for all eleven of their brand new shows coming our way this year and you can watch them all here. Some look good, most look bad, but be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
First up out of the comedies is Animal Practice, a sitcom about a veterinarian that prefers the animals to the owners, starring Justin Kirk (Weeds) and Tyler Labine.
Next we have Matthew Perry's next stab at getting another sitcom off the ground (his last few have been shot down after one season) with Go On (no, not Goon). Perry will play a sportscaster who, after a loss, finds solace in the members of his mandatory group therapy sessions.
Guys With Kids sees Jesse Bradford, Anthony Anderson and Zach Cregger as 30-something dads who struggle withbeing parents because they're still children at heart.
The New Normal stars Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells as a gay couple looking to adopt a child through surrogate, Goldie (Georgia King).
Everyone's (least) favourite comedian Dane Cook gets a starring role as a curmudgeonly radio DJ alongside Collette Wolfe's peppy Stella in Next Caller.
Anne Heche stars in Save Me as Beth, a woman who believes she's channeling god after a near-death experience. So... Quirky!
1600 Penn is another addition to this year's batch of political satires (think Veep!), starring Bill Pullman as the commander-in-chief.
And now onto the dramas. First up, we have Chicago Fire, a firefighter drama starring House's Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney.
Do No Harm is a new medical drama with a twist; its main character Dr Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale, of Rescue Me fame) is a maverick doctor who must contend with his Jekyll/Hyde alternate personality, Ian Price, who threatens to ruin his personal and professional life.
Another addition to the soapy oeuvre of midseason replacements is Infamous, which stars Meagan Good as a detective that goes undercover in a wealthy household to find the truth about the death of a wealthy heiress who was also her childhood friend.
J.J. Abrams is trying once again to replicate his Lost success, this time with Jon Favreau in tow. Hopefully not another run-of-the-mill sci-fi drama, Revolution depicts a future where all of the world's electricity has been eradicated for the last fifteen years. Starring the likes of Billy Burke and Giancarlo Esposito, this is one you'll have to see to believe.
