Wayne Kramer gets a big cast for next feature Pawn Shop Chronicles…

Brendan Fraser, Matt Dillon, Elijah Wood, Vincent D'Onofrio, Pell James, Thomas Jane, Lukas Haas, Chi McBride, DJ Qualls, Michael Cudlitz, Norman Reedus and Paul Walker will all star in Pawn Shop Chronicles. Wow, that is a long list for Wayne Kramer's dark comedy about a man searching for his abducted wife and finds out that Neo-Nazis may be linked through items sold or found in a small local pawn shop, hence the title. In a statement made to Deadline producer Jordan Schur said “This is a superbly written mind-bender of a story that grabs you from the first line, and doesn’t let go, (...) We are incredibly fortunate to have found Wayne Kramer to present it, and equally thrilled with the diverse and talented cast assembled.” It has begun shooting in Barton Rouge in LA and looks to be an interesting project.
