Jon Bernthal Will Be In The Wolf Of Wall Street

News about casting has been coming thick and fast regarding Martin Scorsese's upcoming pic The Wolf of Wall Street. Firstly Leonardo DiCaprio attached himself to the project to play Belfort, and then Jean Dujardin was announced to play a sleezy Swiss banker who specialises in money laundering. Now Scorsese feels that he needs a dodgy dealer, so who better than The Walking Dead's very own Jon Bernthal, who will be portraying a drug-dealing money launderer. Terence Winter will be adapting Jordan Belfort's autobiography about his spectacular rise and then inevitable fall as a stockbroker. Of course, it being a Scorsese picture, DiCaprio will be playing Belfort, who will be living the high life with his best buddy Jonah Hill, until the FBI come knocking at his door inquiring about his fraudulent activity. Scorsese’s plan is to start making the movie this August in New York. Bernthal has been busy after his Walking Dead career, shooting action thriller Snitch with Dwayne Johnson and filming the pilot for Frank Darabont's new period crime TV series L.A. Noir. Now with a role in a Scorsese pic, he can consider himself officially a big name in Hollywood.
