Ed Harris And David Duchovny Are In Deep Water In This New Trailer For Phantom [VIDEO]

Here at Screenrush, we love a good submarine flick, and it's been a long time since we've seen one, let alone a good one. Could Phantom be the answer to our prayers? Check out the trailer over on Apple. Directed by Todd Robinson (Lonely Hearts), Phantom stars Ed Harris as a world-weary Soviet submarine commander suffering from seizures that are loosening his grip on reality. Keeping this secret to himself, his situation becomes even more complicated when he is sent on a top secret mission with technicians from the KGB to test a new device. Needless to say, it looks like relations between Harris' captain and David Duchovny's KGB chief aren't so amicable, nor with his second in command (William Fichtner). As shown in the trailer (which, be warned, is spoiler-heavy), the cast has decided to keep their American accents instead of trying their hand at Russian ones, which is probably for the best. It may not quite reach the heights of Crimson Tide or The Hunt for Red October, but we'll definitely keep our eyes on the periscope for Phantom when it's released on March 1st next year.
