With Amour and Quartet receiving critical acclaim, Paul Andrews is jumping on the elderly folk-centered film trend in his upcoming comedy-drama
Originally entitled Song For Marion, Paul Andrews' Unfinished Song has released a new trailer and you can watch it in HD here! The comedy-drama has Terence Stamp playing a grumpy pensioner named Arthur who is pushed into joining a local choir by his much more cheery and life-embracing wife, Marion (Vanessa Redgrave). As director of the group, Gemma Arterton's Elizabeth sees potential in Arthur and attempts to inspire the cynical old-timer into having a more positive outlook on life. The Weinstein Company has not only taken Marion’s name out of the title, but in this second trailer they have also minimized the wife’s role by completely removing her diminishing health storyline. The feel-good musical romp hits UK cinemas on February 8.
