Al Pacino Totally Wigs Out In The First Still For HBO's Upcoming Movie About Phil Spector

After a pair of teasers for the HBO movie Phil Spector, we've finally been given an official still of Al Pacino playing the legendary music producer and convicted killer and we're happy to repart big Al's looks great in an Art Garfunkle wig. He actually manages the tricky task of looking even crazier than Phil who - according to info revealed at his high-profile trial - would often encourage nubile young beauties to come back to his mansion and kiss his gun. It was on jut such an occassion back in 2003 that Lana Clarkson, an actress and singer, ended up blowing the back of her head off in what Spector claimed was an accident but which the jury in 2009 decided was a second-degree case of the murders. The HBO movie that'll be unveiled on March 24th and is written and directed by David Mamet claims to be a work of fiction 'inspired by actual persons in a trial' and focusses on the growing relationship between defense-lawyer Linda Kenney Baden - played here by Helen Mirren - and her client. We're going to say something we rarely say about an HBO movie: we can't wait to see this!
