Jarmusch is back from his four-year hibernation with this year's newest vampire love story and here we have our first glimpse

A vampire rock star eternally bound to his blood-sucking beauty Tilda Swinton? That’s right indie king director, Jim Jarmusch is back, this time with a vampire love story we can all agreeably hope will be nothing like Twilight series, and with a quick look at the film's first image which went online yesterday at Indiewire, we think it’s safe to say Only Lovers Left Alive may yet escape the overly-dramatized, teenage vampire film stigma. Described by Jarmusch as “crypto-vampire love story,” the film revolves around vampire Eve (Swinton) and her centuries-long lover, Adam - a grungy, underground musician, played by Avengers', Tom Hiddleston. Destrought by the direction of the human world, Adam reunites with Eve in hopes of escaping his life of depression, but the lovers' paradise quickly ends with the arrival of Eve’s uncontrollably crazed younger sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). John Hurt and Like Crazy's Anton Yelchin also star, and while the film seeks distributiuon we've got a feeling we might get to see it at this year's Cannes Festival in May. Stay tuned for later blood-sucker news.
