Take a first look at the London-based criminal thriller, starring Gabriel Byrne and Rufus Sewell
It’s about time we got some news on George Isaac's film that has been in the making for some time now; we were starting to wonder if the fast-paced crime thriller would reach our cinemas at all. But not to worry because here we finally have a first look, and be reassured, All Things to All Men shows none of the usual symptoms of a weak directorial debut, and it certainly has quite the cast! Rufus Sewell is in as Parker, a maverick law enforcement official who is determined to bring down the sadistic crime lord Corso portrayed by Gabriel Byrne. And Brit TV star Toby Stephens plays Riley, the professional thief trapped in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game as he tries to play both sides of a dangerous situation. In addition to writing and directing the film, Isaac is also co-producing it with previous partner, Pierre Mascolo, from Kidulthood and Adulthood. With an all too familiar genre one cannot help to wonder if All Things To All Men will measure up against the best of the genre, but from the looks of things here the young director will bring a whole new style of his own to the table. We won’t have to wait long to find out; expect it in cinemas April 5th. Until then have a look at the trailer; it certainly does look promising.
