Calabro: Original Melrose Place Star Joins The New Series

The second original star to be confirmed for the re-make.

We reported yesterday that Melrose Place 2.0 will have an original series cast member, Laura Leighton. And now we bring you even better news, that there'll be another familiar face on the block too, in the shape of Thomas Calabro!

The original Melrose Place series ended in 1999, but a re-make of the LA based show has returned this year.

Calabro will be reprising his role as Dr. Mancini, the good guy-turned-cheater, People.com reports. The star, who appeared every season in the original Melrose Place, will be the father to David Patterson, (Shaun Sipos.)
