Lena Dunham's Girls was the talk of the TV world when it debuted earlier this year and this first trailer for season two looks forward to the show's return in January

 

Lena Dunham's brilliant TV debut Girls - which she starred in as well as writing and directing - has already been one of the most talked about shows of the year and made our Top TV Of 2012 List, and now in the twilight of the year, HBO is gearing up for its second season with this brilliant trailer. The show promises to pick up in the lives of the quartet of young 20-somethings just where it left off in June with Hannah finally split up from her odd-ball boyfriend Adam, Marnie floundering with neither a boyfriend nor a job, Jessa married to a banker she drunkenly met in a bar (and who at the time expected a threesome with her and Marnie) and Shoshanna and Ray appearing to be getting it on. Check it out and let us know what you think; For what it's worth, we reckon it looks great.
