Synopsis   
Emma, Cleo and Rikki are three 16 year-olds growing up on Australia's idyllic Gold Coast. After getting stranded on the mysterious Mako island, they escape through an underwater channel unscathed - apart from the fact that now, when they touch water, they turn into mermaids! What's more, they have special powers. Emma can freeze water, Ricki can boil it and Cleo can turn it into any shape. With the aid of their friend Lewis, the girls try to discover the secret of their powers, and prevent their own secret from getting out!
